Universal Orlando’s full name is Universal Orlando Resort. It’s stated in Orlando, Florida. Universal Orlando is an American Theme Park based on different famous movies or shows. It takes people’s hectic life to adventurous fictional times.

Universal Orlando was first opened for visitors in 1990. Apart from Disney World, it became a tourist spot day by day. This is the second-largest theme park aside from Disney World.

When in 2010, Universal Studios opened Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it began to attract tourists like a swarm. The whole Harry Potter fanbase went to the Ollivander’s Wand Shop, riding Hogwarts Express and tasting Butterbeer.

Without Harry Potter, there are versatile shows and movie-based rides, and places where you can enjoy yourself with your family & friends.

1. Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food

Location: Universal CityWalk.

At number one, I would love to recommend Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food. The outside vibrant color decorations and inside energetic environment will make your mind refresh and you will sway with the melodious Mexican mariachi music.

The birdcage booths with beautiful caricatures will mesmerize you. The food of this restaurant is comparatively cheaper. Moreover, The classic Mexican foods with special street food like sizzling fajitas will water your mouth. The cocktail and tequila section is super versatile. I loved the fresh salsa from this restaurant. For kids, there are options like chicken, tacos, or quesadillas. It’s an amazing place for family dinner with kids.

2. Three Broomsticks

Location: Universal Island of Adventure.

The famous Harry Potter-inspired restaurant is Three Broomsticks. You will get the wholesome feeling and experience of a Harry Potter book or movie in the restaurant. While sipping on butterbeer, you can see the Hogsmeade village with busy people.

Recommendations in this restaurant are, butterbeer, half roast chicken like we had seen in movies with fish and chips, roasted potato, green salad, and kids menu.

3. Vivo Italian Kitchen

Location: CityWalk Orlando.

Vivo Italian is the fanciest, elegant and sophisticated restaurant. The extremely beautiful inside decorations give you a Bali atmosphere and allow you the taste of fresh Italian foods. The staffs are very friendly and the food is in mid-budget.

In this gorgeous restaurant, you can taste seafood, different pizza, or tiramisu. Plus, The kitchen is open so you can see the chefs cooking delicious dishes and drool at the smell! The wine bar is also versatile. It’s open at dinner time and families are welcome here! You’ll get the best food at universal studios Orlando here.

This restaurant is inspired by Tom Hanks’ movie Forrest Gump. This wildly famous restaurant is a fantastic place for the fans and it’s been serving the fans since 1996. Seafood is quite famous in this restaurant. American classics are also on the menu.

The restaurant is the first restaurant at the CityWalk entrance. The food is quite expensive but it well worth it if you are a fan of this movie!

5. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen

Location: CityWalk Orlando.

Interesting name, right? The restaurant also looks very aesthetically pleasing. It gave me a kind of Charlie in the Chocolate Factory vibe. But, it’s not inspired by that movie.

The cake & milkshake of this restaurant is drool-worthy and still, it makes me hungry. It has classical dishes like steak, seafood, burgers, milkshakes, cakes and many more. I remember two cute characters walking around the restaurant. They stop by the table and do fun things with you!

6. The Leaky Cauldron

Location: Universal Studios.

As a fan of Harry Potter, I visited both Three Broomsticks & The Leakey Cauldron. Leaky Cauldron is quite similar to three broomsticks, but the menu is different. They are classic British food like fish & chips, Mac & Cheese and so on.

7. The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar

Location: Universal CityWalk.

It’s a restaurant where you will get innovative fusion dishes. A very famous dish of this restaurant is sushi burger. It’s called “Burgushi”. This is the most unique food of cowfish. Using hamburger ingredients, they make sushi roll and it tastes delicious.

There is a huge menu for kids, so it’s a place for family dinner. The appreciating plating and presentation of food are fabulous. One of the cheaper rated restaurants on my list.

8. The Simpsons Fast Food Blvd

This cafe has the most versatile food menu. They have pizza, pasta, hotdogs, burgers, chicken, fishes and Chinese foods. It’s an ideal place for family dinner.
